What is chilli basil fried rice?
It is fried rice lifted with holy basil (or Thai basil), fresh chilli, garlic and a savoury sauce. The basil is the hero — peppery, almost aniseed-edged, and totally different from Italian basil. It carries a spicy tag because of the fresh chilli.
How we make it at Two Sisters
We wok the rice hot so each grain stays separate, fold through basil at the end so it stays fragrant, and let you pick the protein. Ask for mild and we pull the chilli back.
